Hi, I have Vista home edition, premium and get really upset as when I am
half way through doing something I get the message that the 'program has to
close and windows is checking for solutions'.  I restart and start again.
very annoying!  I also get the same message when opening some programs.  I
have tried the compatility wizard but still I get the message.  I have tried
opening as administrator with no luck.
I remember reading once that there is a box I can untick somewhere in
settings that might allow me to open these programs.  Can someone help?

You'll need to provide more info than just "these programs".  There are
just to many variables that will cause this kind of error.......
