I have had the new pc for two weeks. Windows update is supposed to install
all updates every morning at 3:am.  There have been several that have
happened -all indicate successfully.  However there have ben 3 important
updates and two optional that show as available to install but three days
have gone by and they never have been installed.

I have no idea why.  Also, Vista sp1 use to show up as awaiting to install
but when these other important ones showd up the vista sp1 disappeared .  In
installed history none of them show as having installed.

I would turn off autoupdate, restart and turn it back on.
