If you have tried everything then maybe it's time to try a Bart PE disk.
I have created a boot disk with some tools on it.
The iso image is 157 M/b zipped to 71 M/b.

www.megaupload.com/?d=IM9EOCD3

Unzip the iso image and burn to cd with your favourite burning program.
Boot from cd
Click on Go button
Select Programs

[ A4 File manager ]
Just like the usual explorer

You should be able to navigate to your problem file/folder and rename/delete it.
