it was working fine when i had windows XP but since upgrading to Vista (old
lappy died on me), the FrontPage kept shutting down when i was trying to make
changes to my web page (like changing hyper links), and it restarted my
FrontPage automatically.

then the 'help' message came out asking me to check for updates, which i
will dutifully do but it still dies on me! help!!

In the subject line of the OP's message, he already mentioned the FP
version: Frontpage XP a.k.a Frontpage 2002.

I've never heard of FP2002 being called FPXP. What does that make
FP2003,   FP Vista?

Hi,

Not sure about FP XP but for FP 2003, it is a confirmed behavior when
inserting hyperlinks, it will crash.
