I deleted the pagefile.sys and deleted the shadow copies by doing disk
cleanup and selecting the delete shadow copy option yet I still am showing
as being allowed to shrink by 50 GB when I have 148 GB free.  What should I
do?
Is there some partition software avail that I can download?  TIA

Download and run JKDefrag, then retry your partition resizing.

Otherwise you'll need a disk management app like BootItNG
or Acronis Disk Manager. Best I remember each has a fully
functional time-limited trial version.
