After upgrading to Vista 32x on my Packard Bell 2770 I'm unable to use IE7 as I get the above error message. I am able to access it as an administrator! I would bet that you have Goto Software's "Vade Retro" on your system. Why? It seems to be buggy: what happens if you remove it or ask their technical support to help you fix this crash?
