Hi,
I am using a seimens 567 router that has wireless built in since about 6
months ago. I was using a linxsys router prior to that. I have been using
wireless since Mar 2007. about 2 months ago after upgrading vistais when
problem began.
The problem:  I lose internet access after I turn my laptop off. It works
fine if I reboot the router before I want to use the internet again. The
router remembers the computers that were logged in the last time, even if
they are turned off, but no ip address.
Both the computer vendor, Acer, and microsoft want money to help you with
the problem.
I'm told it is solveable by fixing registry, but can't get the solution.
I believe it is a Microsoft problem since it worked fine before I upgraded
my Vista SW. My sons Laptop XP system has no problems on this network.

Check the router's manufacturer's website to see if there is updated vista
compatible firmware available for the router.
