The truth is Vista is annoyingly slow at doing any kind of advance search. More so if attempting to search within files. It can take forever. Frank should start a search for his brain. Just for the heck of it a couple weeks ago I did a in-file search of my entire system comprised of almost 5 TB worth of data looking for the phrase "investing" knowing it appears in many documents, spreadsheets and notes. It took 28 minutes 14 seconds for Vista to finish.
