Trying to find the clock on Vista

At one time there was a clock on my desktop, and seemed like the calendar was
there to.  I dont know what happen but it disappeared, where do I go to get
it back?????

That is the side bar, Go to Control Panel/ Windows SideBar.

If the Windows Sidebar is not running, you can use these two tutorials
to show you how to get it back:

From there, you can click on the Sidebar "Add Gadgets" button to open
the Gadgets Window, from which you can drag-and-drop whatever gadgets
you want onto the sidebar:
