Some time ago I lost the ability to open attachments in IE8 for certain types of files, mostly some jep files and all .pps file types. I also cannot copy them. The only means of viewing them is to do a Save as from IE8 and then they open just file. I would appreciate any ideas that would restore the ability to open these file from within IE8. I can do the work-around but that is a pain. Mel enter your "associations" problem into search at winhelponline.com there's a similar problem with WInMail which winhelponline.com solved, and it's th eonly place where I found rock-solid permanent solution. As of IE8, no, mine is perfect, no problems, not sure why you broke associations. |
