I have had three SpeedStream wireless routers. It seems like each one last's
about 12-14 months. Just past the warranty.
Can anybody suggest a better wireless router?
I have two desktops with winXP and a cable modem.
Thanks,
Bud Z

what do you want to run? .11B or .11G? Is cost a factor? how about future
upgradability? There are Best for some and Best for others. Need more info
on what you want....

Hi
The Speed Stream Wireless Router was probably the best 802.11b Router. It
was the only Entry Level Wireless Router that came with 5dbi original
Antenna.
It makes senses to buy a new Router only if you want to upgrade to 802.11g.
Currently Buffalo Tech. has a very good line of Entry Level Wireless. It is
fast, stable, and compatible with Windows WZC.
This page has a lot of general info. concerning the 802.11x choices:
