When I leave my laptop on overnight.. I wake up and my internet connection
has been disconnected.  What is the reason for this?  I have my instant
messanger on and when I wake up its been disconnected, how can I keep this
from happening.  I guess I want to let the laptop shut down and conserve
power, but I want it to keep everything running like it does on the desktop.
Any help will be appreciated.

Thanks

Not trying to be sarcastic here but, how can you shut it down and still
expect it to keep running?
