How to open box with red X in Outlook Express

Each time I receive a picture, ad, etc. they appear as a small box with a red
X in the center. How do correct this problem?

There are two primary reasons for that. One, the person sending you
the email did not click Format and check "Send Pictures with Message".
Second, you need to delete your Cookies and Temp files including on
and offline content in Internet Explorer>Tools>Internet Options. There
are many other causes and you can do a Google search with many
results for the (Red X) problem. Other readers of this post may give more
responses to assist you.
