I am trying to run Windows Installer CleanUp Utility version 3 on a Windows XP Home Edition Version 2002 Service Pack 2 and get a Windows Script Host error message: Can't find script engine "VBScript". Any suggestions? Hi John, Login as an administrator. Click Start, Run and type: regsvr32 vbscript.dll Press ENTER. I have downloaded Installer CleanUp and tried installing from desktop and also running program from web site. John, See if reinstalling the Windows Script engine fixes the problem. John, You need to fix the registry permissions using Microsoft's SubInACL utility. Unfortunately, I don't have an XP Home Edition box to test it for you.
