I hope you can help. We had a laptop with a single passworded account. XP
Home. The laptop has since broken and the harddrive has been placed in an
external caddy and is being used as an external drive.

We need access to the files from the previous account but whenever we try to
open any file in the user account we get the error access denied. We cannot
copy the files across onto another computer because of this same issue.

Would appreciate any help.

Many Thanks

Steven
