I get to the Windows XP Newsgroup page, click New/Question, then just get
looped right back to the same page; I do not get the page where I can type
in my new post. Can you help?

Try   https://   instead of   http://

==>

https://www.microsoft.com/windowsxp/expertzone/newsgroups/reader.mspx?dg=microso
ft.public.windowsxp.accessibility

I did as you suggested using https: instead of http: - it didn't help.

As i know, you have no Connect button. True ?
Use the https:
Try to make a new message.
Then you would see the identification process.
If Internet Explorer says it cannot give the page (something like this)
clic back. You should then see the welcome ...
And be able to make an answer.

Thank's JF, I didn't check. I got confused when Annabelle was trying to get to:
https://www.microsoft.com/windowsxp/expertzone/newsgroups/reader.mspx?dg=microso
ft.public.windowsxp.accessibility

rather than using OE.
Oh well.
