I am creating a presentation that I closed on Friday.
This morning I cannot open the file.
Here's the message I get on my screen:
"Powerpoint cannot open "filename". A registered
converter was not found and may need to be reinstalled."

Nothing I do opens the file.
Can anyone out there help? Have you seen this message
before? Is the file simply corrupted and not able to be
recovered?

Please advise - it would be greatly appreciated. My
backup is 6 weeks old, meaning that this could mean 6
weeks of lost work.

Thanks.

Post to the Powerpoint NG - you'll find it under Office.
