help me please (cntrl alt del at start up)

My wifes laptop requires you to hit cntrl alt del to boot to xp. It gives
you the option of using a card or using cntrl alt del. how can i get this to
go away?

A card? Is this computer configured to log on to a secure network at work
with a smart card? If her place of employment uses this, she should talk to
the IT department at work before changing it. If it is not needed, see
"Enable smart card or other certificate authentication" in Help and
Support.
