You need to explain this issue a little better.  From what you are saying,
I'm assuming your scanner has the ability, with the proper software to scan
directly to e-mail.  If that is the case, it sounds as though the software
for your scanner is either out of date or this function is not supported
with your current drivers and software under XP.

If that is the case, try scanning the document into your system, save the
file, then create an e-mail message, attach this file and send it.  NOTE: if
the scanned file is larger than 2MB, many ISPs will not allow files larger
than that to be sent by e-mail.  You may need to reduce the size of the
file.  If that is necessary, if you don't have a graphics program that can
do this or you don't get a notice from XP asking if you wish to reduce the
size for e-mail, try the following application:

Hello
I assume you are e-mailing it, therefore you will have to scan it and save
it to a file or folder on your computer, I suggest My Documents and then
open your mailbox and create a new mail and attach it to it.

Isn't this cheating.....;)

Hope this helps
