language bar activates itself on startup

The language bar keeps appearing on my taskbar every time
Windows starts up. Not a pressing issue, but still
annoying, and no support found either in MS support or
via a Google search.

Disable the Language Bar:
Control Panel (classic view)> Regional and Language Options> Languages>
Details> Settings> Language Bar.

Also may need to disable in your Office programs if any are installed.
