my search companion has disappeared from my computer says
the file  msgr3en.dll is missing    This computer came
with WindowsXP preinstalled  how and where do I get a CD
Rom disc to download this file?

you can reinstall Search Companion w/o the CD by:

Log on to the computer by using an account with administrator permissions.
Click Start, click Run, type %systemroot%\inf, and then click OK.
Locate the Srchasst.inf file.
Right-click the Srchasst.inf file, and then click Install. This reinstalls the files that Search Companion uses.
