Every time I boot up my Windows XP I get an error message
that the module
C:\ProgramFiles\WildTangent\apps\CDA\cdaEngine0400.dll
cannot be found.  Apparently it is searching for a web
site at start up.

How do I disable this?

WildTangent is an online gaming plugin bundle from www.wildtangent.com.  If
you used them at one time for gaming you might check their website for
removal instructions.

Also, you might try running Ad Aware, www.lavasoftusa.com
