Is there a way to remove the "Log off <username> from the Start button menu
?
My computer is networked with my wife's computer but share all drives etc.
Since I am the only registered user (my wife uses my computer occasionally
but is not registered as a separate user) is there any need for the option ?
What happens if I click on the option; naive perhaps, but I have not used it
since I do not know if I can get back in again if I log off !!

Thanks, Jack Sadie

It will simply take you to the Welcome screen.  There is no means of
removing this at system level.  There may be various registry hacks that can
do it though given what you've posted it's really unnecessary.  Nonetheless,
you might be able to find this information in the windowsxp.customize
newsgroup.
