Windows takes too much time to recognize my Hard Disk

My Windows XP takes 10 minutes to recognize my Hard Disk.
What can I do???

Would you please explain what this means.  Are you unable to boot, are you
able to boot but when you get to the desktop the setup is not fully active;
from the information you posted, it's impossible to answer your question.
