How can I create a network drive between two computers and be able to share
files, pictures, etc. through that drive?

Have you set up a home network with the network wizard?  You already have a
Shared Documents folder which all computers on a home network can see.
Every drive must belong to one or another computer but you can share a data
drive from one of the computers with all of the computers.

Simplest (and least expensive) way  is via LAN cards (one in each PC) with a
"crossover" cable link - as Colin says, use the Network Wizard to set up.
You could also share Internet access.
Or, you could go the expensive route, via a router ... if only 2 pc's
involved, expense not warranted. However, there's many schools of thought on
HOW to do it - personally I've used the simplest, with no problems.
