Since you didn't quote any of the previous posts, I don't know what your
issue was and what you've done; however, if you have XP Home to access
the normally hidden built-in Administrator account you must start the
computer in Safe Mode. To get to Safe Mode, repeatedly tap the F8 key
as the computer is starting up. This will get you to the menu where you
can choose Safe Mode. Use your Up arrow key to navigate to Safe Mode
and then press your Enter key. Unless you changed it, the built-in
Administrator default password is blank.

If you have XP Pro, you do not need to go into Safe Mode to access the
hidden Administrator account. At the Welcome Screen in Pro, do
Ctrl-Alt-Del twice. This will get you the classic logon box where you
can type in "Administrator". Again, if you did not set up a password
during the operating system installation, the default will be blank.
