I have My Computer, My Music, and My Documents on the upper right
section of the start menu. I would like to add My Pictures and link that
to where my pics are on my F:/ drive.

I can make a link/shortcut on the upper left side of the Star menu but
would like to have it on the right side with the other "My" items.

Any help appreciated.

Just press with the right button over the Start button
Properties/ Customize/ Advanced
Over there (in 'Start menu Items') you will see My Pictures. Select 'Display
as a link'

My Pictures is not there, which is the problem. i would like to get it
back and direct the link to my pictures on the F:/ drive.

The three I mentioned are the only ones in the advanced section
available for check-off. There is no My Pictures.

Gordon,

To get "My Pictures" option back in the Start Menu and in the Advanced
options, try this:

For standalone systems:

Open Regedit.exe and navigate to:

HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Policies\Explorer

Delete the "NoSMMyPictures" value in the right pane.

Close Regedit.exe

Next, to relocate the My Pictures to a different location, use TweakUI
