Hi, i was wondering if anyone can help me, i am able to connect to the
internet fine by going to start, connect to, right clicking and clicking
connect. but when i try to disconnect in this same way the disconnect icon is
not there only the connect icon but im already connected!.
The only way ive been able to disconnect is by switching my computer off
which is annoying if i need to continue work without the internet.
If anyone can help that would be appreciated!
thanx  HB

And how do you connect? Dialup? ADSL modem?

Have you setup Internet Options | Connections and set how you want to use
connections?
You do not need to use Start | Connect ...
Internet Browsers and E-mail programs will provide internet connections
based on Internet Options | Connections ... setup.

When you are online, do you see a double tv icon in the notification
area? If you do, you can click on it and there will be a disconnect option.

HI

YOU CAN SEE THE NOTIFICATION AREA TO VIEW THE STATUS OF THE CONNECTION.
YOU CAN  DISCONNECT FROM THIS AREA. BECAUSE YOU CAN SEE THE SAME ICON IN HTIS
AREA
