When you log onto a new site, which requires and ID (like an e-mail address)
and a password, Windows will ask if you want Windows to remember this ID and
password. If you elect: YES, then next time you sign onto that site,
generally all you have to do is click once on the ID box and hit Enter.
If you tell Windows: NO, then maybe next time it will ask again, but
eventually Windows will stop asking. So then the ID and password must be
entered manually each time.
Is there a way to "wake Windows up" so that it will ask once again?
Frequently one might want to sign onto a site manually, until it's trusted or
part of the routine, but then it would be nice to have this automatic.

Hi
Try this - open Internet Explorer and go to Tools>Internet
Options>Content>AutoComplete. Check/uncheck the various options in there.

Thanks, Will,
I checked per your suggestion and everything looks to be checked properly to
remember passwords. I wonder if I should 'purge' these files and start over
in an attempt to have Windows "ask" all over again? Some PWs are stored and
work properly, it's just the ones that don't ask that I'd like to activate.

Hi Jim
Some web sites don't ask for you to be remembered for security reasons.
