How to fix?

Hi there,

My computer was crash by something unknow,when i wanna to see the event
log,it was been murder...So i copy the SysEvent.Evt from the
\%systemRoot%\..\config\  
and using Notepad to open it, but i just can see some event in the log
file.and all of it is just like disorderly char...

Did some Super Person here knows how to read that SysEvent.Evt file in
normally?

P.S.
I cann't open it by windows EventLog.

Hi,

What happens when you run eventvwr.msc?
Was a dump file created when you crashed?
Did you recently install or update any software?
Was there a blue screen error?

Hello,
i just copy the sysevent.evt file from my system,and i re-install the
system,so in the new system i wanna to read this file inorder to find out
what happened.
but when i open the file with windows evtviwer it just show me can't open it
the file was bad:-(
