I keep getting a unhandled win32 exception error whenever i type in url in
the address bar, then the IE closes.

I have tried winsockfix,avast, eufix regsitryclean,adaaware,smitf and
nothing works?

Hi,

Have you tried reinstalling IE?
Have you tried disabling plugins?

For the former, right click the ie.inf file under C:\Windows\Inf and choose
install. For the latter, see http://rickrogers.org/fixes.htm#plugin
