ASPI32 file missing

Windows XP Professional SP1
Problem: On restart, system display windows\system32 directory
An examine the system event log indicate that ASPI32 file is missing, error
message: "System cannot find the file specified"

Please advise how can I find that file?

-Dave, try just a straight search.  Make sure you search for hidden files
also.  That always works for
