colors are wrong after Tech worked on my computer

I cannot get my color scheme back after my computer was worked on.
People are receiving "blank"emails from me, and my pages, and msg.
windows are white on black. I don't know what it is to the recipient. I
hit Ctrl/Shift-C and it returns to a white background, but will not stay
there.

Info: blind user, XP Pro, HP Invent, IE Browser 6.0, all MS updates
current, Spyblaster, AdAware, AVG (run Trendmicro weekly).

Can you help me?

Call the tech back and make him/her come out and fix it.
