how do i turn on the automatic feature that recognizes what i'm going to
type....type an "e" and everything starting with e drops below the menu box?
please help me...i'm new to computers

Hi Eric,

when posting a question, please try to be more specific. The more
information we have available, the easier is for us to help you.

Drop down menu, ok. But where in Windows. Is it Office or other application?
Are you talking about Internet Explorer?

thanks gonmb....yes i am talking about internet explorer...while i'm doing
research on a county recorders website

Go to Tools / Internet Options / Content Tab / Autocomplete Button. Check the "Forms" item. Apply/OK.

Control Panel | Internet Options | Advanced and check the Use Inline
AutoComplete option.
