I cannot move a read email to a Folder I've created for it. The message
is always "The selected message cannot be moved. An error has occurred."

For years I've either segmented incoming messages on OE to a
per-determined folder using the "Create Rule From Message" option, or
right clicking on Folders, and making one from there. I've never
experienced this before.

My XP Pro is current, on a new HP Invent business computer, utilizing
23% of the C Drive, 31% overall. All updates are current. I also
compress my OE folders daily, run AVG, Adaware, Spyblaster daily, and
"Housecall" once a week. I run most utilities in Safe Mode, as well.

Thank you.

See if you can move to some other Folder that you create.
Can you open the Read Message?
