When i left click on a photo on a website the photo would open in a
different window, now they are not opening for some reason.  The only way i
can get them to open is to right click and click open link in new window.
Any ideas as to how i can get back to them opening on a left click of the
mouse?
Many thanks in advance

Left click opening in a new window is a function of the web's design, not
all images are links or thumbnails or have their target set for new window.

Thanks for that, but they are the same websites, why should they have
changed from left click to having to right click?

Sorry, I'm not following you, can you provide the URL to the site you mean
which image is not doing what you expect?

The website is www.railpictures.net.  I used to left click on the photos and
they would appear in a separate window, now left click is not working and i
have to right click and then open link in new window.
Thankyou.

They work for me, but they may be getting blocked by your pop-up blocker
since everyone of them seem to have pop up ads.

Brilliant, pop up blocker was the problem , i had it set to high as i have
recently been bombarded with pop ups. Have now set to medium and i can left
click on the photos on all my websites.
I still dont actually understand how and why this cured the problem but
thanks very much anyway!

Yer welcome.
Because each new window that opened also had a stoopid poop-up ad.

Oh right, so is there anyway to still be able to open the window but to
block the pop up!?

Hi Andy,
Left click is awebsite design implemented by the website designer, if in the
past these Photos were Hyper linked  (active) and now not you will not be
able to left click on them, but you can right click to go to the Server path
and get the Photo in a new window.
HTH.
