after i run disc cleanup, & before i installed IE7,  i could click "view
files" and could see the files. Now that i've installed IE7 I cant view them,

Open internet options, click on delete files, this opens a new window (same
as IE6 shows),view files.

you've deleted them through Disk Cleanup?

Hope this helps,
Don
