Hello,
I installed and registered an application in my WinXP(1) drive1.
Then I installed this application in another WinXP(2) installation which is
installed on drive 2 without registering.
When running the application from WinXP(2) on disk2 the application knows
allready my during WinXP(1)/drive1 installed username and password!
How is that done?
Does the installation procedure search all available drives in my computer
for any stored Application?
Or is there some Meta storage location related to the computer itself?
regards,
Henk

It's called the registry.
Each installation would have recorded the install & because it was basically
the same, it would be under the same keys.

Well I assume it might be something like a footy tipping competition program
& he wants to run 2 seperate competitions or something. Guess he has a
reason? I never thought to question why tho.
