When entering a new item into the calendar, the calendar does not hold the
entry. What is the problem?

In that case, let me refer you to the microsoft.public.outlook newsgroup,
where you are far more likely to get the help you need than here. This
newsgroup is for Windows XP questions, and Outlook is not part of, and has
nothing to do with, Windows XP.

Also when you go to to microsoft.public.outlook, be sure to tell them what
version of Outlook you are running.

Contact the maker of whatever calendar program you're using; WinXP has
no such capability.
