Why does C:\WINDOWS\SYSTEM32 folder open?

Recently,  every time I boot up XP Prof SP2 the C:\WINDOWS\SYSTEM32 folder
opens.

How can I stop this?

This usually caused by an Empty entry in the Run for the startup services,
so try to open the Registry Editor and look for an empty String like this : "
" or "/" and remove it.
Open a run command and type in:
regedit   click [OK] on the Registry Editor locate this Key:
[-]HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Run =  Delete
empty Qutation like this " " or "/"

Did you ever used Voice recognition service Enabled?.
