All of a sudden, I'm getting the following message on my Properties
window for my CD-RW drive:

"A driver (service) for this device has been disabled.  An alternate
driver may be providing this functionality. (Code 32)"

It doesn't show up in Windows Explorer, and does appear in
Administrative Tools->Device Manager with a yellow trouble icon.

Uninstalling, then allowing rebooting and having Windows detect, then
re-install does not improve the situation.

I'm running XP Home on a Dell desktop machine.

Thanks in advance for your help.

Problem solved, thanks to a second Google search and the following KB
