I have a problem with setting Windows Desktop Search folders.  Which
newsgroup is the best to start a thread?

As I am using the microsoft newsgroup server I thought that I would have
found a newsgroup for WDS but alas no.   Thanks for the link to which I have
now posted.

My problem relates to not being able to deselect (untick) folders which are
being indexed.    I get message saying that i need to change the folders
properties but my folders properties already shows that the folders are not
set to allow indexing.

I'm using WDS 4

regards,

Beemer
