So my daughter has Win Xp and decided to "remove log on name " from opening
screen. Now when the PC boots it asks something like "please click on name"
however there is no name.

How does she open XP?

Thanks.

Bill

Hi Bill,

What steps did your daughter take to remove the account log on?

To enter an account at the welcome screen, do a Ctrl+alt+del twice.
This will bring up the "Log On to Windows" box.
Type the user name in and a password if there was one. If not, leave the
password box blank.

Once into normal mode, reverse the changes made to the way users log on.
