Hi, I need some help! I change my desktop background to black by accident and
now I can't read anything on my screen, how can I change it if I can't see
any of the screen commands?

Reboot the machine and right after the POST screen start tapping F8 until
you get the Advanced Options Menu.
You might try Last Known Configuration first.
The other two options to try would be Safe Mode and/or Enable VGA mode.

Let's see if we can do it with the keyboard.
First right click on the desktop in a spot where no icons are.
Press the UP arrow key Once and press Enter.
Press the TAB key 5 times.
Press the RIGHT arrow key 3 times.
Press the TAB key 5 times and press Enter.
Press the TAB key 1 time.
Hold Down the CTRL key and press the Spacebar 1 time.
Press the TAB key 1 time and press Enter.
Hold Down the Shift key and press the Spacebar.
Press Enter 2 times.
Press the TAB key 3 times and press Enter.
Wait about 5 sec. and press Enter again if you have to.

You're welcome, glad to help.  Print the instructions and keep them in a
rememberable place in case the need arises for them again.

If you keep the textual font white for your Desktop you should be able to
avoid this problem in the future -- unless you accidentally change the
Desktop color to white.  <g>
