Organize favorites error message...

I am trying to organize favorites on my new computer.  I am now getting this
message:   An error occured in this dialog.  Object doesn't support this
property or method.  In the organize favorites box, the box is empty with a
red X where my favorites should be listed.  Any suggestions?
