Hi
I am running XP professional.
I have lost my "show deck top" icon in the quick launch area of my task bar.
I created a short cut on my desktop in error and although the original was
there when I deleted this, on restarting sometime later it had gone. How can
I recover this. I have tried to do this through the properties area of the
task bar but although their is a tick in the box no icon appears.
Your help in advance is as always appreciated

Open notepad

Copy this and paste it into notepad:-

[Shell]
Command=2
IconFile=explorer.exe,3
[Taskbar]
Command=ToggleDesktop

Save it to this folder:-

C:\Documents and Settings\Your User Name\Application
Data\Microsoft\Internet Explorer\Quick Launch

with the name

Show Desktop.scf
