I run XPSp2 I have all updates installed. I recently updated my Intellimouse
software to v. 5.1.

I am left handed and prefer to have the click on the right rather than the
left.

Now when I boot the machine the mouse come up as a right handed mouse and I
have to go to "Control Panel" and the mouse page to change it. In other
words the mouse control will not stay where I want it.

I have tried to go back by running v5.5 which is actually v4 according to
what I can read on the screen.

Is there any way to go back or even go forward to a later version than v5.1?

Many thanks,

I thought I had downloaded this file and installed it. But when I looked at
it "about" it said v 4.0 and told me I had a later version already on my
computer.
I will try it again.

Still no solution. It still won't save my changes in the mouse setup.
