I never got into computing at all until 1 month ago.  Im getting
better but dont have a 12 year old next door to help and no means to
get help when needed.  Ive got xp for dummies and it helps but is
there anything better for the total novice who doesnt know the terms
and slang???

Hi Liz,

These newsgroups are a good place to start. But I would suggest connecting
to them directly using the following link.

Windows XP Newsgroup Setup Instructions for Outlook Express
http://www.microsoft.com/windowsxp/expertzone/newsgroupsetup.mspx

Computer Haven is another great place for beginners.
