Thanks Ken for the response.
There are no other hardware problems and the cd is a generic oem disk
so installing on another computer/motherboard is no problem. It's been
over 120 days so the software install should be no problem. Thanks for
the link.

...something else to have in mind: OEM disks can only do clean installs.

A clarification, though. That means they can't do upgrade installations. It
does *not* mean they can't do repair installations.

You're welcome. Glad to help.
Even if it were under 120 days, you could activate by voice call to an 800
number, and that's quick and easy.
