> Hi all,
> I just started to connect my Acer 2450 laptop
to an external HP 22" widescreen flat panel monitor,
 via the VGA connection.
> The laptop is set at it's highest resolution of
1280 x 800, but the external monitor shows very
fuzzy images.  I have set the new monitor resolution
to the same resolution, but the external monitor does
not seem to accept that. Any idea's what the problem
 may be?

The external monitor's native resolution is 1680x1050 so using a 1280x800
resolution will cause the image on the external monitor to be fuzzy.
